If you've made the decision to follow Jesus, baptism is one of the most important next steps you can take. Water baptism is a public acknowledgement and celebration of your decision to follow Christ. The immersion of a believer in water is a prophetic act signifying that person has died to their old way of life and raised (resurrected) to a new life that's surrendered to following Jesus. When you are water baptized you are testifying to the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ as the way of salvation.

The ordinance of baptism by immersion is commanded by the Scriptures. All who repent and believe on Christ as Savior and Lord are to be baptized. Thus they declare to the world that they have died with Christ and have been raised with Him to walk in newness of life.
